This site is a static page run by a single developer. Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement run only if you accept the cookie banner; until then no cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. There are no forms. Last updated 2026-10-12.
This site and the Jelly Folders plugin are run by DevStine, Hungary — the data controller for the little personal data described below. Full details are in the legal notice.
Without your consent, nothing of its own: no cookies are set, no analytics or tracking scripts run, there are no forms to submit, and the page loads no third-party fonts, scripts, or embeds — everything is self-hosted. Analytics is the one exception, and only if you accept it (see below).
The host serving this page, Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), processes standard technical request data (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) on my behalf, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
This data is not used for tracking or profiling, and I do not combine it with anything else. Cloudflare keeps it only for a short period under its own retention rules. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
When you write to me, I receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. I use it only to reply and keep the conversation only as long as needed to help you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), or Art. 6(1)(b) for licence support). It is never shared or used for marketing.
Premium licences are sold through Freemius, which acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record: Freemius runs the checkout, processes the payment, handles VAT and issues the invoice. The details you enter at checkout (name, email, billing and payment data) are collected by Freemius under the Freemius privacy policy. I receive the information needed to provide your licence and support.
Jelly Folders runs entirely on your own WordPress installation. Your folders and media never leave your site. The free plugin listing and reviews are handled by WordPress.org under its own privacy policy.
Both the free and the premium plugin bundle the Freemius SDK, which handles upgrades, checkout and licensing. It does not track usage or send your account or site details until you opt in on the connect screen shown after activation (or, in the premium version, enter a licence key). Choosing Skip leaves the plugin fully functional.
If you opt in, Freemius receives your WordPress user's name and email address, your site's URL and title, the WordPress and PHP versions and site language, the plugin and SDK versions and their state, and the list of your installed plugins and themes. Activating a licence key shares somewhat less by default: your name and email address (unless the licence already has a known owner), your site's URL, the plugin and SDK versions and state, and diagnostic details you can untick; the plugin and theme list is unticked by default. After a Skip, only three things you start yourself contact Freemius: opening Media > Upgrade (which loads pricing and carries your site address), starting a checkout from there (which puts your name, email and site address in the checkout link), and submitting the feedback form when you deactivate the plugin (which sends an anonymous uninstall event with the reason you gave).
You can stop sharing at any time with Opt Out under Jelly Folders on the Plugins screen; this stops future sharing and does not recall what was already sent. What Freemius does with the data is covered by the Freemius privacy policy.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Since this site itself stores almost nothing, most requests will be quick — just email me.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, naih.hu.
